Abstract
The article raises current issues related to the spread of new sociocultural practices and the characteristics of modern youth culture in general. It is noted that young people are actively changing their understanding of their purpose, role in society and their life plans. A comprehensive analysis of youth culture allows us to consider it from a socio-philosophical and cultural perspective. The work shows that sociocultural practices involve addressing not only various types of activities, but also those complex processes that are currently changing the entire sociocultural environment and contributing to the transformation of the value system of young people. The focus of the article is on the question of how objectively social transformations force the younger generation to distance itself from established traditional social relations and patterns of behavior that form identity. The conclusion is drawn about the marginalization of some modern youth cultural practices.
