In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of protest actions in Russia, in which young people, students and schoolchildren are increasingly involved. The article analyzes theoretical aspects, as well as empirical data to identify non-political factors in the protest activity of Russian youth. The article examines the results of a questionnaire survey of Russian youth conducted in 2021. 2000 people aged from 14 to 35 years old were interviewed in all federal districts of Russia. It has been established that the youth of Russia has a fairly high protest potential, in fact, every third is ready in one form or another to take part in various protest actions. As a result of the study, factors were identified that affect the attitude of Russian youth to protest activity: the level of material well-being of young people and the region of residence
Based on the results of a mass survey of young people in Kazan, new and traditional forms of gender relations are analyzed, the attitudes of young people in the field of family, sexual and reproductive practices are characterized. The conclusion is that the scenarios of gender relations in the youth environment have undergone significant transformations in recent decades. New forms of relationships appear, channels for finding a partner, and the attitude towards previously unacceptable practices is being liberalized. At the same time, as the research results have shown, the traditional parameters of gender relations remain relevant for the overwhelming share of young people
In the article, the author studies the communication activity of the subject of modern Russian politics – local selfgovernment bodies in the conditions of digitalization of society. Social networks have penetrated into all spheres of society, redesigned the previous communication links, and began to claim leadership in the circulation of information in the mass media. In business, the possibilities of social networks are actively used from large companies to local "bakeries". In the activities of the subjects of Russian politics, this communication channel is also being mastered in order to ensure information transparency of activities, the formation of a favorable image. In the article, based on the results of the analysis of quantitative and qualitative indicators of the effectiveness of the use of social networks in the practice of local self – government bodies of the Russian Federation of thirteen Russian cities whose population exceeds 1 million inhabitants (with the exception of federal cities-Moscow and St. Petersburg), the degree of development of this communication channel in interaction with the public is determined.
This article examines the attitude of the Muslim society of the Arab world to drug use. The features of the use of qat as one of the customs of the Yemeni population and the contradictions of laws and traditions are revealed. The results of a sociological study conducted by Yemeni sociologists on the attitude of the Yemeni population to penal servitude are also presented.
Based on the analysis of models and practices of implementing the housing policy of modern Western European countries, the author describes the main instruments and measures of state influence on the housing sector, and also highlights effective and promising mechanisms for solving the housing problem for Russian conditions. The identified deepening housing crisis is a consequence of global socio-economic changes. At the moment, no country has managed to solve absolutely all problems in the housing sector of society.
The article presents a sociological understanding of the formation and development of youth activity, the attitude of the young generation of the republic to various formats of civic and political network participation, based on the results of the author's empirical research (a qualitative strategy was used, n = 3). The article reveals the informants' assessment of the problems associated with the distribution of content that destabilizes the socio-political situation in society
