The article deals with the scenarios and practices of healthy lifestyles in modern urban space, presents the results of the author's sociological study conducted to identify the opinions of citizens (on the example of Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan) about the most common practices of healthy lifestyles in urban space.
The results of the empirical study indicate the relevance of contradictions in the understanding of the main elements and principles of a healthy lifestyle and real practices for maintaining an active lifestyle and health promotion in the urban space by urban residents. Having a sufficiently capacious theoretical base concerning healthy lifestyle and understanding its positive effect, urban residents, nevertheless, do not implement this knowledge to the full extent in practice. The determining factors of this phenomenon are the lack of free time, finances and personal motivation.
The article discusses Russian and foreign approaches to studying the problem of drug addiction of the population, the evolution of views and concepts. The content of the views of various researchers is analyzed, highlighting the factors, the socio-cultural space of drug addiction, the value aspects of anti-drug behavior, various areas of anti-drug policy, drug prevention, studying the content of unsuccessful drug policy leading to the social exclusion of drug users. The author also touches upon the experience of Russian empirical studies of the drug addiction of the population, which, along with theoretical developments, is relevant for use as a methodology and system for studying the problem of drug addiction in Yemen
The article is devoted to ways of involving the younger generation in innovative activities on the example of the participation of the Moscow Aviation Institute in the events of the Year of Science and Technology, which was held in 2021. Today, the main competitive advantage in the context of social transformations is knowledge and the ability to innovate. It is the younger generation that is most inclined to innovate. The university plays a special role in the innovative behavior of young people, stimulating the independent work of students, during which the activity and initiative of the individual are manifested, its creative potential is revealed. However, institutional conditions alone are not enough to reproduce the innovative functions of young people. It is important to correlate the efforts of higher education institutions to attract young people to innovative activities with the state policy being implemented.
The article touches upon the attitude of Astrakhan residents to corrupt practices in the modern society life and provides a comparative analysis of the FOM data with the results of the author's sociological research obtained through a mass poll and expert interviews.
The special focus is given to the bribery causes rotation, where the dominating role is immersed by the longing to improve one's-well-being or to settle the problem through illegal means by the fastest ways. The article determinates the population’s low awareness of about ongoing anti-corruption activities in the Astrakhan region. The regional respondents opinion states the current policy insufficiency of anticorruption efforts, and the approval of penalty clampdown for corrupt officials. It is worth mentioning about a research attempt to comprehend the Astrakhan residents opposite judgments of about the causativity of corruption demonstration, in particular, about legal ways to achieve the goals and the wish to bribe to expedite the problems resolution process.
The experts and the residents of the Astrakhan city consider that the main measures to reduce the corruption demonstration are to minimize the main factors contributing to the corruption itself.
The modern mechanisms for preventing and obviation of the corruption manifestations in the public authorities require to reconsider the effective measures to overcome it.
Reproductive behavior is a complex term that can be viewed from many sides. Reproductive behavior is in the focus of demography, medicine, psychology, biology, social psychology, sociology. The theoretical and methodological foundations of reproductive behavior are laid in interdisciplinary research. The transformation of the modern global society affects all spheres of human life. This invariably affects the state of social health of the population. There is a loss of basic goods. This manifests itself through a decrease in the level and quality of life of the population, its individual social groups and strata; through increasing stress and conflict potential of social space; decrease in the quality of physical health of the population. In a general sense, we can talk about the threat to the social health of the population. The purpose of this article is to analyze the state and dynamics of the development of social health of the population in the era of transformations, in the regional society.
The authors proceed from the definition that the state of social health of the population is determined by the minimum level of social diseases. As a set of indicators of social health, various types of diseases and social diseases were identified as a reflection of the population's ill-being. The authors studied most of the indicators of the social health of the region's population (on the example of the Volga Federal District, in the context of its subjects).
An analysis of the main conceptual provisions of the study the concept of "new normal" is presented. The factors shaping society in the conditions of the new normal are revealed, and how these factors cause the aggravation of social exclusion. It is noted that in the conditions of the formation of the "new normal", the main changes are taking place around modern digital technologies that help maintain social sustainability and inclusion, create opportunities for business development, employment, remote work, study, participation in politics, familiarization with culture, as well as new forms of communication. But they also generate new forms of inequality, digital divides. Based on socio-historical, scientific and theoretical approaches, the author of the article analyzes public perceptions of old age as a social phenomenon. In addition to analyzing historical and scientific aspects, the author draws attention to the consequences of state and social transformations that have occurred both on the territory of Russian society and beyond (the introduction of the concept of active aging (2002), pension reform (2019), the COVID-19 epidemic (2020)
The author of the article comes to the conclusion that, depending on the historical epoch, the ideas about older people ranged from social ballast, infirmity to the socio-economic potential of society. However, the epidemiological situation caused by COVID-19 around the world contributed to a partial return of ideas about old age originating in antiquity. Persons of the older generation, due to age changes, began to be considered as a vulnerable social group in need of isolation from society in the conditions of the epidemiological situation caused by COVID-19. Thus, the results of a comparative analysis made on the basis of the author's sociological research conducted in two stages (stage I from 2016 to 2017, stage II from 2020 to 2021) indicate a decrease in the social activity of older people due to the current epidemiological situation in Russia.
The article discusses the place of creative industries in the economy of European cities, their place in the development of creative products and services in the Russian Federation. The evolution of creative spaces in the Republic of Tatarstan and their specifics are briefly analyzed. As part of the results of the author's empirical study (non-participant observation, semi-formalized interview (n = 4), Kazan, 2021-22), the role of creative spaces in Kazan as an agent of youth socialization is characterized, conditions are formulated under which the socializing activity of creative spaces is the most efficient. The data obtained are applicable in the work with youth of administrative and public structures, non-profit organizations, in the development of strategies, programs and social projects.
In modern conditions, associated with the increasing role of digital technologies both in society as a whole and in the system of higher education in particular, the functions and roles of the teacher in the educational process are changing. The participants in this process are both teachers and students, and therefore, in order to study the status-role characteristics of a higher school teacher, it is necessary to take into account the opinions of both sides. With the help of the author's research by surveying students (n=1372) and faculty (n=419) of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, both contradictions and general ideas about the status and role of a university teacher in the context of digitalization of education were identified
