Abstract
The article looks at the problem of human development through the ecosystem approach to education. Traditional adult education formats are not able to fully meet the needs of individuals and the labor market. The educational environment is expanding due to new technologies, providers and content delivery formats. The results of an expert survey (n = 18) show that in the national learning environment, institutional boundaries are blurring, EdTech is accelerating, and horizontal links between different providers are developing. This allows the authors to speak of an emerging educational ecosystem. New educational formats in the ecosystem (co-working, peer-to-peer learning platforms, makerspaces, EdTech) enable the development of individual learning pathways, micro-skills, training for new professions, occupational intersectoral mobility, and become an important factor in the human and socio-economic development of territories.
