Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of the characteristics of the consumption of media content by young people. The aim of the study is to identify platforms for consumption of information, used sources, content, influencing the formation of values of «zoomers». With the widespread use of technology in society, there is a situation of polarization between young people, integrated into the network space, and older generations, whose perception of reality is based partly on traditional media. The ease of access to information via the Internet, the relative security, the variety of sources and the ways in which it is disseminated increase the possibilities of the Network’s influence on modern youth, who are highly mobile and flexible.
